Lonely Lodge

Last Updated: September 04, 2018

Hello and welcome to our DoubleXP, Fortnite Battle Royale training. In this clip, we will be taking a closer look at Lonely Lodge.

Lonely Lodge is a woodland area that is located on the eastern side of the island near Retail Row and Wailing Woods. Unlike Wailing Woods, there are a few buildings and huts around in this area. Most prominently, there is obviously the giant watchtower that almost always contains at least one chest. A general tip is to try and land atop this structure, loot its contents and then take the stairs down. Whilst this is a slower method of traversing back down to land, it will ensure that you don’t miss any loot hidden within the structure itself. When looting in this region and looting in general be sure to look on the inside of roofs as there may be plenty of chests that go unopened. The audio cue should certainly give it away if you’re within a close proximity. As this area is towards the edge of this map, it is a relatively quiet place to land if you are not looking to engage in combat throughout the early game phase. It’s safe to say that this area is often heavily overlooked and underrated in terms of a landing spot as there can be up to 15 chests total as well as an abundance of trees to chop down and building materials to accrue.

And that wraps up this piece of Training. We hope you are enjoying DoubleXP. Feel free to click through to nearby area overviews so that you can entirely familiarize yourself with the map of Fortnite, Battle Royale.
