As of March 15, you will finally be able to face the “God” of Pokemon. Arceus will be obtainable in Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl if you have the most recent software update for the title. That being said, there are some prerequisites that one must have to obtain the coveted Azure Flute which is required to summon the Mythical Pokémon.
To get the flute, you must have a save file for Pokémon Legends: Arceus on your Nintendo Switch that has all the main missions from the game completed — in other words, you have to catch Arceus in its own game to also capture it in Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. You must also have beaten the Pokémon League and gotten the National Pokedex in Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.
If you meet these conditions, you will find the Azure Flute in your bedroom. Then, you must go back to the Spear Pillar where you once took on Dialga or Palkia, depending on which version of the game you played. Arceus is a normal-type Pokémon when not holding a plate item, so in theory, a fighting Pokémon will be a huge advantage for you.
Arceus is not the only new Mythical addition to Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. You can also get Shaymin and Darkrai as well to complete your National Dex and continue your goal of becoming a Pokémon master.
