If you’re going for the Treasures of Bastion achievement in World of Warcraft: Shadowlands, you’ll need to pick up the Gift of Chyrus as part of your quest. There’s a couple steps involved in this, even after finding the correct location, but we’ll make sure you leave with the contents of the chest.
Locating the Gift of Chyrus
The chest for the Gift of Chyrus is located high up in Bastion, in the Terrace of Inner Grace. Make your way to one of the easternmost points on Bastion’s map, placing you at 69.32, 40.40. You’ll end up in front of a statue and a transport pad. Use the teleport, and it will whisk you to the top of the Temple of Humility.
Turn to your character’s right, and you will see a desk with the Gift of Chyrus chest at the end of the platform. The chest is locked, demanding Proof of Humility to open it. You’ll need to “/kneel” after left-clicking on the chest. This trigger can be a bit buggy, so be sure that you’re standing in the center of the circular platform in front of the chest when you kneel down. Wait for about ten seconds to ensure your humility is real. After this, open the chest as normal, and claim your reward before getting back to the rest of the Treasures of Bastion.
