On January 20, 2K and Saber Interactive added three new wrestlers to WWE 2K Battlegrounds: Rezar, Fandango, and WWE Hall of Famer Roddy Piper. The Hot Rod is now a playable character in 2K Battlegrounds, but in order to use Piper, you’ll need to unlock him first.
How to unlock ‘Rowdy’ Roddy Piper in WWE 2K Battlegrounds
In order to unlock ‘Rowdy’ Roddy Piper in WWE 2K Battlegrounds, select the Superstars tab on the upper-right hand side of the Main Menu. Once you do that, you will see all the wrestlers that have previously been unlocked, as well those who need to be unlocked via Bucks or Golden Bucks.
To get Piper, you will need to spend either 6,000 Bucks, or 150 Golden Bucks. Additionally, 2K Battlegrounds players can also purchase two alternate outfits for the Hot Rod, one of which is Piper’s signature white T-shirt and red Scottish kilt. Each alternate outfit costs 3,000 Bucks/75 Golden Bucks.
