Because of this, it’s always a good idea to throw the ultimate just a little bit past the visual indicator on the ground in order to make sure it lands. Once you’re in the game, the build structure for Fizz is easy; you want a bunch of ability power to do magic damage, and then you want magic penetration to keep doing damage in the late game. Items like Stormsurge and Lich Bane have the added bonus of giving players movement speed, making it easier to not only hunt for more kills but also escape sticky situations. It’s generally recommended that you just pick up items that have tons of ability power, like Rabbidon’s Deathcap, Void Staff, or Shadowflame. Once you begin to feel comfortable, we recommend using Zohnya’s hourglass to bolster Fizz’s ability to remain untargetable for as long as possible. It’s important to remember that builds should be adjusted game to game based on the team you are playing, so while magic pen boots are our general suggestion, you should consider other boots like Mercery Treads if you are against a team with a lot of crowd control.
