The next-gen consoles supporting Crash 4 will receive a healthy boost in graphics — running in 4K resolution, along with speedier load times, 3D audio effects, and more, Activision stated in a news release. If you already own Crash 4 for current generation consoles, you’re in luck. PlayStation 4 or Xbox One users will be entitled to receive next-gen upgrades at no additional cost. Next-gen pricing is looking at a $59.99 price point, while the Switch will cost $39.99.

Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time marks the first new installment in the Crash series since the release of Crash Bandicoot: Warped over twenty years ago. Crash 4 implements classic mechanics that fans adored from the original trilogy, along with a whole new plethora of additions, like wall-running, rail grinding, and rope swinging.

Most notably, Crash 4’s core gameplay allure is the addition of Quantum Masks, granting players unique abilities to progress through the game. For Crash Bandicoot fans who’ve been waiting for the release of Crash 4 for their preferred console, especially Switch users, March can’t come sooner.
