The long awaited Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age on the Nintendo Switch has been given a release date for the console.
Dragon Quest XI was one of the first games to be announced for the Switch, during the time when the Switch was still called the NX. The Nintendo Switch version of Dragon Quest XI will include bonus features, like added story elements and more side games.
The Dragon Quest has always been a popular RPG franchise, especially in Japan. At times, the Dragon Quest games will outsell the prestigious Final Fantasy titles in Japan. While the franchise has struggled to have an audience in the west, Dragon Quest XI has received much acclaim since it was first release on the PS4.
Nintendo announced that Dragon Quest XI, which is now called Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age: The Definitive Edition, will release on the Switch in the fall of 2019.
